§ 94-251.2.A. Private driveways.

  • (a)

    No person shall stand or park a vehicle, whether occupied or not, except momentarily to pick up or discharge passengers in front of a public or private driveway.

    (b)

    Any person convicted of violating this section shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than $50.00 and not more than $750.00 for each offense.

    (c)

    Authorized town officials and employees upon finding vehicles parked in violation of this section, shall be authorized and directed to enforce this subsection by ticketing or towing. Upon the request of the property owner or tenant, any vehicle parked in violation of this section shall be subject to an immediate tow without notice in accordance with division 7 of this article. The towing charges in each case shall be borne by the owner of the vehicle.
